
Senior Proposal Manager
Position Overview:
As the Senior Proposal Manager in the Sales department at Extenet, you will be a key contributor to the sales operations team, managing the request for proposal process to support business growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, your responsibilities include overseeing the RFP lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful submission of proposals.

Responsibilities:
- RFP Management: Oversee the end-to-end RFP process, including analysis, response preparation, and submission.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, technical, finance, and legal teams, to gather information and ensure comprehensive RFP responses.
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of high-quality proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Extenet's strategic goals.
- Timeline Adherence: Ensure timely completion of RFP responses, meeting submission deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Content Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of proposal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with RFP requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication with internal stakeholders, providing updates on RFP progress and addressing inquiries.
- Content Library Management: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date content library for the RFP team, ensuring that all information is current and easily accessible.
- Process Improvement: Analyze RFP outcomes to recommend enhancements to products or processes, aiming to increase win rates and efficiency.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the dynamic needs of the venue sales team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of experience managing RFPs, preferably in telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience with venue-focused telecommunications solutions or digital infrastructure projects preferred.
- Graphic design experience is a plus.

- Proposal Development Expertise: Strong skills in developing high-quality content for proposals aligned with client requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in reading, writing, and reviewing proposal content to ensure the highest quality.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate dialogue with internal stakeholders and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to handle multiple RFPs simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze RFP losses and recommend enhancements to products or processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using proposal management software, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft 365, and other tools to efficiently streamline the RFP process.
